Eileen Erstad, CRC Chair

Ms. Erstad serves as Treasurer of NSC, as Chair of the Operations and Risk Management Committee, as a member of the Strategic Planning Committee, the Audit Committee, the Budget & Finance Committee, as Chair of the Ashby Ponds Board of Directors, as well as serving on the Community Relations Committees of Riderwood Village, Ashby Ponds and Greenspring Village. She is a senior executive and has served as Chief Financial Officer in the healthcare and hospitality industries. Ms. Erstad has developed and implemented strategic plans, growth and reorganization strategies, and has also participated in new product development. Her most recent position was Chief Operating Officer for ResortQuest. Her previous positions include Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Symphony Health Services, LLC; and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at PHH Corporation. She began her career in public accounting working for KPMG.  Ms. Erstad graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola College in Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Jackson Bain

Mr. Bain currently serves as Chair of the Communications Advisory Committee and is a member of the Governance and Internal Affairs Committee of NSC. He is also Chair of the Greenspring Village Board of Directors and its Community Relations Committee. Mr. Bain is Chairman and CEO of Bain and Associates, Inc., a public affairs consulting firm.  Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at the National Association of Children’s Hospitals. A communication expert and journalist with 30 years of experience, Mr. Bain joined NBC News in the 1970s as a White House and Congressional Correspondent and news anchor. He holds degrees in Journalism and Political Science from Reinhardt University and the University of Georgia.

Patricia Lund, Director Living in Community (DLC)

Dr. Lund serves as Director Living in Community of Ashby Ponds, as a member of the Ashby Ponds Board of Directors and a member of its Community Relations Committee. Dr. Lund was a consultant to international hospitals preparing for Joint Commission accreditation. Previously, she was a nurse executive in the Johns Hopkins Health System and The Memorial hospital and Medical Center of Cumberland Maryland. She served as President of the Virginia Nurses and the Maryland Organization of nurse Executives. Dr. Lund and her husband moved to Ashby Ponds in 2008. She has been active on many committees and served as chair of the Resident Advisory Council from 2016 – 2019. Dr. Lund has an earned doctorate from Teachers College of Columbia University.
