Ashby Ponds Community Relations Committee

Eileen Erstad, Chair

Ms. Erstad serves as Treasurer of NSC, and as Chair of the Operations and Risk Management Committee, as a member of the Audit Committee, the Budget & Finance Committee, as Chair of the Riderwood Village Board of Directors, as well as serving on the Community Relations Committees of Ashby Ponds and Greenspring Village. She is a senior executive and a Chief Financial Officer in the healthcare, hospitality and financial services industries. Ms. Erstad has developed and implemented strategic plans, growth and reorganization strategies, and also participated in new product development. Her most recent position was Chief Operating Officer for ResortQuest. Her previous positions include Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Symphony Health Services, LLC; and Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at PHH Corporation. Ms. Erstad graduated Magna Cum Laude from Loyola College in Maryland and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

 

Jackson Bain

Mr. Bain currently serves as Chair of the Vision Advisory Committee and is a member of the Governance and Internal Affairs Committee of NSC. He is also Chair of the Greenspring Village Board of Directors and its Community Relations Committee. Mr. Bain is Chairman and CEO of Bain and Associates, Inc., a public affairs consulting firm. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at the National Association of Children’s Hospitals. A communication expert and journalist with 30 years of experience, Mr. Bain joined NBC News in the 1970s as a White House and Congressional Correspondent and news anchor. He holds degrees in Journalism and Political Science from Reinhardt University and the University of Georgia.

 

Mary Tondreau, Director Living in Community

Ms. Tondreau serves as Director Living in Community of Ashby Ponds, as a member of the Ashby Ponds Board of Directors and a member of its Community Relations Committee. Ms. Tondreau was the founder and CEO of TvT Associates, Inc., a consulting firm that provided advisory services in support of public health programs to U.S. government agencies and nongovernmental organizations. Following the acquisition of her company in 2002 by Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., of Silver Spring, MD, she continued with the acquiring company as a corporate officer until her retirement in 2006. In 2013, Ms. Tondreau and her husband moved to Ashby Ponds. She has been active on several Ashby Ponds committees and the Resident Advisory Council, serving as chair from 2015 to 2016. Ms. Tondreau holds a bachelor’s degree from Smith College and studied economics at the graduate level at Boston University.
