Zina Jacque, Chair

Reverend Jacque was appointed to the Board of Directors of the National Senior Campuses in 2017, and as the chair of the Diversity Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Advisory Committee in 2018, Rev. Dr. Zina Jacque comes to the work of senior living and wellness from a community engagement background. She is the senior pastor at the Community Church of Barrington, Illinois. Previously she served on the staffs of multicultural, urban, and suburban churches and has done extensive work in the areas of higher education, counseling, and faith based not for profits. Dr. Jacque sits on the Board of Directors of the American Baptist Churches USA, JourneyCare Palliative Care and Hospice Center and the Samaritan Counseling Center of the Northwest Suburbs. Additionally, she served as a western regional director of NSC, beginning in 2009. Dr. Jacque holds a doctorate of theology and a master of divinity degree (Summa Cum Laude) from Boston University, an M.A. from Columbia University, and a B.A. from Northwestern University.


Georgia Erickson, Director Living in Community

Georgia Erickson is the Director Living in Community at Tallgrass Creek in Overland Park., Kansas. She serves on the CRC and as a member of the NSC Advisory Audit Committee. She has been a resident at Tallgrass Creek for 3 years, involved in the community governance since the beginning. She previously served 14 years on the Overland Park City Council as President of the Council and Chair of Public Safety. She currently serves on the Police Committee on non-biased racial profiling. She helped found and develop the Overland Park Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and is an active member of the Friends of the Arboretum and Friends of Public Art for the City.

Mary E. Ryan

Mary Ryan, member of Tallgrass Creek’s Community Relations Committee (CRC), graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1974 with a Bachelor’s of Nursing Degree. After working in Joplin, MO and Pittsburg, KS, she moved to Overland Park, KS in 1980 and has been affiliated with St. Joseph Health Center ever since. In 1995, Dr. Ryan completed a Master’s of Science in Nursing, and entered advanced practice in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine.  In 2002, Dr. Ryan returned to Family Practice and has been in practice since that time and obtained a Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2012. She serves as a medical liaison for the Arthritis Foundation, and has served on the Allergy and Allergy Foundation Board. She is a member of the medical advisory committee for Arthritis Today magazine and is an Allied Health Member of the American College of Rheumatology. She also participates in the Governance Committee at St Joseph Health Center. Her Doctoral research was published in the Journal for Nurse Practitioners in July, 2013.
